JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Able to handle full spectrum of accounting functions which includes timely submission of P&L and Balance Sheet, reconciliation, AR & AP financial reporting and other management reports.
  • Preparing annual financial statements, financial projections, budgets, contract costing and financial analysis as required by the management.
  • Performing budgetary control and implementing corrective and cost savings measures.
  • Monitoring overall accounting and taxation functions of companies.
  • Review monthly management accounts bank reconciliations and journal entries of companies.
  • To ensure on-time submission and accuracy of financial operation and management reporting.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and relevant parties for statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate prepare and review the annual statutory financial reports of companies.
  • Review tax computation and tax estimation of a group of companies and ensure compliances with all tax legislation.
  • Review of service tax and overseeing GST implementation.
  • Setting and reviewing inventory movement, inventory accounting and reconciliation of inventory system and physical.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that the company may assign from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with some managerial capacity in property development industry.
  • Preferably member of MIA.
  • Possess good interpersonal and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in GST is an added advantage.
  • A highly independent person with good time management skills.
  • Hands-on and result oriented and ability to work under tight deadlines and challenging environment.
  • Computer literate and good in MS Office applications with knowledge in accounting system.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin with excellent communication and writing skills.
