JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan, organize, oversee and manage the building and construction projects including all interior fit-out, renovation and retrofitting works for the Company
  • Liaison with Authorities and consultants to obtain all relevant approvals for the construction of projects including layout plan, earthworks, infrastructure works, building plan approvals and all other relevant approvals including the issuance of certificate of fitness and/or certificate of completion and compliance.
  • To coordinate with consultants during conceptual design, design development and tender stage and to ensure that all drawings are prepared within stipulated time frame for submission to the relevant authorities and calling tender.
  • To contribution towards and see to the finalization of designs and materials proposed by consultants and contractors for the projects.
  • To liaise with local authorities for building inspections and to obtain approvals for development projects.
  • Ensure that the company’s Quality Management System Manual and the Project Quality Plan are adhered to during construction of works.
  • Contribute ideas towards marketing strategy and business development.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that the company may assign from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering, Architectural, Building or Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 15 years of working experience in property development and at least 5 years in senior level.
  • Possess sound knowledge and experience in conducting feasibility studies, project planning, tendering, contract administration, construction methodology and authority liaisons.
  • Have an eye for details and meticulous in enforcing high standards of construction work.
  • Ability to coordinate with relevant government authorities for the required approvals and permits/ licenses.
  • Hands-on and result oriented and ability to work under tight deadlines and challenging environment.
  • Experienced with complex and high end projects.
  • A highly independent person with good time management skills.
  • High standard of construction work with successful execution experience in implementing CONQUAS, QLASSIC, etc.
  • Computer literate with knowledge in Auto Cad, MS Office and MS Project.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin with excellent communication and writing skills.
